Default University Christian (FL) vs. Highlands Bluebirds

A lot to discuss here in regards to how Highlands will handle the supposed speed of Christian after last weeks scrimmage loss to Trinity. It will be interesting to see how they approach their goal line offense, the pass defense, and how Houliston will perform in his first start. He sounded very impressive against Trinity. Hope the Birds get healthy and make a statement this coming Sat. I look for them to blow this game wide open in the 2nd half once the first game butterflies disappear. What do you think we'll see out of this one?

Didn't someone say that this team was ranked around 100 overall in Florida?

Highlands should roll in this one!

Last year the Florida team only had 31 kids on their roster. Highlands should win this game as long as they don't turn the ball over.

With a few adjustments this week to the defense, I see HHS winning this one. But then again, I see HHS winning all games. LOL! UC, if like last year, has those great 11 kids that play, this will be a very good game. After that, talent level drops a bit. That will be to HHS advantage IMO. As of now, 86 and sunny next Sat. Should be a great day for Saturday football. One of many for the Birds this year.

What defensive adjustments are you suggesting based on the Trinity scrimmage? Personnel or schemes?

Gotta love these roster listings...they must ask the kids how tall and heavy they are.

I remember when Duffy was here, he bumped up all the height/weight for all 35 of us. Since our numbers weren't intimidating I guess our size would be.

UC has 3 returning 2A all state selections. DB SR Jake Stoshak, SO RB Hussein Howe, and SR OL Josh Allen.

I see kids that are 3 inches shorter than they are currently or listed 2 inches taller...20lbs heavier and lighter than they probably are as well. Cracks me up but like my old coach always said....The first rule of football is "Fake it".

I'll be shocked if this isn't a blowout. Can't see a 2a team with 30 kids on the roster being much competition for a team like Highlands. This team would have been a better matchup against Beechwood or NCC and even then, I'd give those 2 the edge..

    Yeah, yeah, something happened alright.

That never happened and this game is being played in Ft Thomas on Sat via ESPNU.

Apparently, UC ducked NewCath and picked up little ole Highlands....

They look good. Are they returning any players?
