ROCKS really stepped it up after halftime. BA is really good and is going to win a lot of games this year. Also heard that Indy Cathedral might have lost to Ben Davis.

T scores 35 straight to pull out the win, 28 in the second half.......held BA to 44 yards in second half. BA scored on 69 and 71 yard plays in first half. I think T wore down BA. BA has some really talented players. T made very good adjustments at half.

Solid effort on both sides before a packed house. Heard Wright was 21-31 - he really spread it around out there. Quick with his usual acrobatics that have become so commonplace, and Dawkins is stronger and faster. So many times the whistle blows, five guys are around him and he is still on his feet. Good D adjustments in Half II to take away their long ball.

Some scary moments though; Dawkins misses a couple of series after turning his ankle. Hatcher comes out twice. A lot of cramps for a night where heat wasn't an issue.

How did the early scoring go?
And Catherdal losing to Ben Davis by 3 means Catherdal is going to be tough as nails.

Whatever Coach B said to the guys at halftime WORKED! Defense was amazing in second half. So many weapons on offense too.
Way too many penalties... both teams had a bunch. refs missed several calls... unless holding is legal this year. Brentwood fans are a class act and they had some serious talent on the team. Anybody hear what happened to their QB.. he left limping. The Eagles would be top contenders for 6A crown if they were in Kentucky and Trinity moved to Conference USA.

Trinity marched right down the field on the first drive. Only six plays I think. But then BA answered back with a good mix of run and pass. Trinity drives again with ease but Quick fumbles inside the ten. After a first down, Trinity holds. Jason hatcher goes through three guys blocks the punt and picks it up off a bounce and rumbles in for the score. But BA gets a long run around the end and is right back. Defenses on both sides were taking a beating in the first quarter.

You guys aren't giving the play that Hatcher did (punt block), enough respect. He rushed the punter....and trucked the up back all the way into the punter....the ball was kicked off of the up back's hind side....very, very impressive.....also, there was a slew of scouts at the game....

By the end of the game maybe, but they were dominating the second half from kick off. Their two way guys would have been rested at that point.
I almost felt like they walked in too confident and needed the shock of trailing to wake up. They came together though in the second half.

Beatty after the game said the players took over the locker room at half time and got things straightened out among themselves. That is a good sign. We were talking with a Vandy assistant. They are still interested in no. 7, the commit to So. Cal, and he wanted to see their commit Ryan White from Trinity. He was also very impressed, as was I, with DL (no. 84) from BA. He said he texted Coach Franklin to say that Vandy needs to offer him a scholarship.

Two things went very much in BA's favor in the first half....and that set the tone. I give BA credit for capitalizing.
1 - Quick's uncharacteristic fumble (which he laid another ball on the rug, but recovered it)
2 - a blatant non-call on a hold by #7 on White.....so bad....I was on BA's side, and the BA fan next to me, said I can not believe that the line judge could miss one so bad. BA scored on a 69 yard run to White's side on that play.
*we dominated every other aspect of the game. The BA fans were very impressed.
*I saw Hatcher lighting up some ears on the sideline near half. I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the kids in the locker room, making noise. He absolutely dominated this game. In the second half he was on #5 (QB, UF commit), from get go.
