Boone’s coaches just watched him do it.

Not that Trinity needed any more incentive, but I’m sure Coach Beatty appreciated the help.
He did the same thing the week before at Dixie. I thought it was bush league then too. Not sure what the coaches were thinking in allowing that one. He would stand behing our QB no matter where he went, so coach Spritzky decided to stand next to him. I thought that was kinda funny.

I think I saw the Freshman you are talking about....he's another one of the Jeffersonville kids I heard.

I don't think so. This young man transfered from Manual at the beginning of the season. I doubt that Manual has students from Indiana on their team, if so I'm sure Tony Branch would have mentioned it in his now famous "manifesto".

Of course Manual doesn't have any from Indiana, he transferred to Trinity.

He was attending Manual when he transferred to Trinity. That means that up until the transfer he was a student at Manual. Are we clear. Bottom line, I think you are wrong. Maybe you are thinking about St.X's all-star freshman from the Hoosier state, Finch.

I might have heard that wrong or I heard it from someone who was wrong that he was from Jeffersonville. Must be a different city in Indiana, my mistake.

Just out of curiosity, how does a mid-season transfer from Manual to trinity get to play already? For a freshman to play varsity for the pebbles, he must be awfully good. Did Manual release him for immediate participation?

Hey OX...he wasn't a mid-season transfer. He transferred at the beginning of school year. He didn't like a few things about Manual and Trinity was willing to allow this fine young man into their school. He didn't play varsity for Manual so was a release required? That's a question for the school admin people.

Thanks for the info, because this was the first time I'd heard about this Manual to trinity transfer, and I wasn't sure how it was handled. Strange that he was good enough for trinity's varsity, but not for Manual. It seems like most of the time the transfers are from private to public instead of the other way around.

Just for those about to lose their minds about Finch...He played grade school football in the Louisville Catholic Athletic Association.....
