Trinity 41 Henry Clay 20

Trinity is good. Really good.

How truthful is this? I am graduate of Henry Clay and I have known Sam Simpson and most of this coaching staff for 10 years now. Sam is a class act of a coach and I know he would not put up with this by any means and neither would Coach Joyve. Henry Clay's football team has a few kids whose father is an NFL Alumni and it would be an embrassment to them. Maybe they got a little excited but thugish that is over the line. You can also pm me I would like to know. I have some friends who are either in the Central office or have seat on the board. This will be taken care of on Monday I am sure of Coach Nocta.

I suggest you ask your coach. The fact is he not only "put up with this", he was the perpetrator. I guess it was some twisted attempt at motivation. He made a pretty bizarre comment post-game as well.

What a shocker atleast for me, thought HC could pull it off this year,

I was impresssed with Trinity. This had to be the best played game of the year.
Nick Petrino played a great game. The DEFENSE was huge. AWESOME job. I been one whos been on the Defense throughtout the year, but last night a Super Job.

I have never seen Henry Clay before last night. During warm-ups they were talking trash the whole time. "A HC coach" yells to his players "Lets disrespect them in their house they are Trash". Trininty says nothing. As the teams are coming on the field, Trinity waits for the visitors to go first - they don't. So Trinity takes the field - Of Course - HC comes out at the same time. Then HC goes to the middle of the field and stomps the "T". It is obvious to me that discipline doesn't exist at HC. They humiliated their school last night. HC was the biggest team Triinty has played all year and had some very talented players. The only difference between the teams last night was not Public vs. Private but Disciplned vs. Non - Disciplined. GO ROCKS-BEAT ST.X Congrats to the KHSAA you will have the best possible gate next week for the 4A finals

I am not aware of what any HC coach said but I know that was one of the most classless things I have seen a team do in sometime.

You just dont do that at someone else's place...If you do, you deserve whatever you get, in this case, a butt kickin'.

I will say that HC's Boyd (7) & Johnson (27) are outstanding athletes.

I will also verify it, as I was on hand for the comment...No worries, people say things when they are caught up in the emotion. Dancing on the "T" baffled me, as not many have been able to overcome the automatic FIRE UP that it provides. Trinity's defense played inspired all night, and that was awesome. The offense was workmanlike. It is obvious that the better team won, however, Henry Clay has some serious talent and is probably deserving of their top 5 ranking. They just made way, way too many mistakes. People tried to downplay experience and such, but there were two very revealing things about this game.

1 - Henry Clay shot themselves in the foot with un-disciplined play at crucial times
2 - Henry Clay was tired, not the whole team, but enough of it, that it made a huge difference.

*side note - we won, that was awesome, but this was the worst crew of officials that I have seen this entire season.
