You remember correctly! Moeller is a great venue, hope Trinity can schedule them again in the future.

Great memory! We missed three FG's in the rain but overall the Rocks were starting the playoff run that weekend...you could see the team coming together. I also remember we were missing some key starters that night and a few guys really stepped up to fill some gaps. Senior group was special last year. Hope the Seniors this year can play with the same school spirit and togetherness. Can't wait!!

The 2015 Seniors set a good example that I believe the 2016 Seniors will continue. Senior class officers OL Michael Heistand (President), OL Justin Karem (VP) and QB/WR Jake Woosley (Treasurer) have been recognized as leaders amongst their peers and I believe their leadership will carry over to the football field along with others as they "fight, fight, fight for the Green and White". Looking forward to the start of the season.

Hearing that the Harper boys (Larry & Manny) won't be back at Trinity next year. Can anyone else confirm or deny? If true, wonder where they're headed? Definitely would open things up for the other QB's.

I can neither confirm or deny, but based on a conversation I had in the last 5 days I think it's unlikely that they are leaving.

I have heard they did not show up for meetings last week for whatever reason. Guess we will know tomorrow at practice.

Last years RB was Donald Brooks and he graduated. Jalen Reed was his backup and will start this season. Very good RB who should provide T with the ground game needed to compete at the highest levels.

Did Brooks go to a prep school?

No idea what Donald is doing. Maybe someone else knows.

Yes. He went to a prep school in Georgia, but the name of it escapes me.

You are correct they were no shows for last week's meetings and they were not at practice today. Speaking of practice things looked a little rough on offense in regards to the skill players. Missing some key players currently on the baseball team. Wish them and the baseball team the best of luck in regionals and moving forward but they are needed on the gridiron ASAP.

I'm also looking forward to the baseball players getting back to practice but don't think anyone should jump to conclusions about our offense. We have two of the best in the business on that side of the ball when you talk about Beatty and Coverdale. Give it a day or two and I bet several guys show us why they belong on the field on Friday nights. Wonder if the defense and Coach Cobb had anything to do or say about the rough practice. We have several studs on the defense building on three years of Varsity starting experience. I would imagine any team might have a hard time. Just my two cents.

Although it is WAY early...I continue to hear so many good things about this Blackburn kid at QB. I was told he may be one of the best athletes on the team. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the competition but hear Blackburn can do some freak stuff dunking a basketball and he runs like a deer. Certainly doesn't mean he has the arm to go with all that talent or the ability to make decisions...again, I'm just saying people are talking and that is pretty cool. Like what I'm hearing and looking forward to watching things unfold.

Best of luck to the Harper boys. Sorry to hear they won't be back.

How did the Blackburn kid do running the offense - did he run with the first group? Understand it was only 7 on 7 but was he able to move the offense? How about the other QB's? Guess we will have to wait on Woosley to see what he can do, along with Jones and Carrico at WR to see what they can do to help. It is very early in the process right now. Lets not get too far out in front of things. Last season did not straighten itself out until after the season started and the hitting began for real. A great coaching staff that remained patient and got the right group out there for a long drive through the playoffs. Patience!!
