I said some kids come back in 4. It is possible. I have seen it, heck I have even seen a kid come back in 3 and he played soccer and came back perfectly healthy with no problems.

Tough break for Elliott and Ryle, I wish him a speedy recovery and good luck at the next level.

I agree with you 100%. Have had this done 3 times. Do what your P.T. tells you. I also agree with John Anthony. The mental part is the hardest. Good Luck tomorrow. Keep your head up.

Yes, be smart with your rehab TE. Look forward to seeing you at WKU in the seasons to come.

I was really happy to see this in the article:

Elliott committed in May to play at Western Kentucky University and Warner said Western Kentucky coach Willie Taggart already has called Elliott to assure him the scholarship offer still stands.

My family and I just visited with Travis and his family. Travis is handling this situation with tremendous character and toughness just like he played football. He will be a complete inspiration to the Ryle Raiders and he will be at every game as well as most practices doing whatever he can to help the team. He showed up to today's practice and brightened everyone's spirits. The Ryle Raiders have lost Travis only on the field but not as a teammate and there will be many who step up to fill the void. Others will get an opportunity to succeed where before who else would you really want handling the ball the majority of the time. This is not a tragedy but a challenge that Travis will meet head on and conquer. Please keep Travis in your thoughts and prayers as he will have surgery tomorrow. The support the community, other programs, friends and family have given Travis has been awesome! Thank you!

Thoughts and prayers to Travis and to his medical team tomorrow and throughout his rehab.

The biggest challenge ahead will be to Travis and those guiding his rehab to not rush it. Travis' work ethic is almost legendary. He will push himself like no other but there are some things that must run their course through nature. Be smart Travis. Work hard but listen to those experts and listen to your body.
