Steve Stonebraker to Casey County
Heard this is a done deal. Can anyone confirm this?
I hope it is true. I could be mistaken but I think Casey County was his first head coaching job and he had good success there considering how the program was when he took over. Hopefully he will stick around this time and get the Casey County program back on track.
This is a great hire by Casey County.Advertisement

Makes sense now, this must have been in the works for a while.

Why was the previous coach let go? I thought he did a very good job at Casey County.

Gotcha... Not knowing the behind-the-scenes, it seems Marple kind of got hosed - although, I think Stoney is a good hire.

This is kind of where my head was at.
My initial comment wasn't necessarily based on Stonebraker and what kind of guy he he is, it was based on what I had seen (or not seen) out of the administration. It's just odd to me that head coaches come back around full circle. Especially a former coach who had similar success as the one that they just let go at Casey.
