Do you know who even applied and if so how do you know those applicants wouldn't have stayed long term

Don't know the exact number but a long time, also that doesn't make him a good head coach.

Camels were 6-6 the year before Lickert took over. Won first round playoff game. How are they any better now? This is pretty much where they were and are now.

My point was...it's tough to talk about it being a negative that a coach may or may not move on from a job before too long when you've got a school willing to listen to parents and run off a head coach with 3 appearances in the state finals within the last 5 years, and 20+ years experience of coaching within the program.

Care to answer any of the questions I asked up in post 67?

Well you can say it was parents but it wasn't and yes they weren't happy but Dan did it to himself that's for sure.

My point is this will be a short stint with Lickert if HHS comes available.

Highlands didn't hire Lickert the last time he applied, what makes you think Highlands will hire him next time?

And if Highlands didn’t hire him, then where’s his next dream job that he would leave NCC?

Do you really think making $7k maybe makes coaching any team a dream job?Do what you love and find your spot where people appreciate what you have to offer. He is a great coach and a better person. CC loss is NCC gain and hopefully CC finds a coach that can start developing kids from the bottom up. NCC gets kids that want to go there. CC gets kids that are going to go there. Attention needs to be at the middle school level so that “players” are developed at an early age. It isn’t easy but with the growth in southern Campbell and higher income housing you will start to see kids with more skill and resources to develop those skills make a huge difference in the near future. Go Camels.
