When Eddie was the coach at Newcath he had Dads, Uncles, and Cousins help coaching look how that turn out 2 out of 3 state championships. Newcath is a big family you just need someone to run that family the right way good things will happen.

Not as many as wags had. Also nowhere close to as many who magically became a coach on game day but were hardly seen at practice. Big difference

You might be right. I guess time will tell. The one good thing Newcath went outside the box for this hire I give them credit for that.

There were a lot of people trying to push him out at Campbell.

Not sure why people were trying to push him out. Was he not doing a good job there? He seemed to be putting out good teams lately.

Great hire for NewCath but a very questionable move by Lickert.

Exciting news if this is accurate information! I would assume Coach Lickert will remain a public school educator...meeting with the CC BOE does not mean he lost his teaching position. He is a tenured teacher...he was probably informing the BOE that he was stepping down from his coaching position at CC due to the NewCath opportunity. Wishing Coach Lickert the best of luck and most success at NewCath!

Congrats to Coach Lickert. Wonder if Coach Meadows is going with him or maybe just maybe he will return to Highlands.

How is the “discipline problem” going to be any different with him not in the building? This isn’t any different than Wags’ situation
