Should be a good one, but I think Warren Central will pull the upset in this one. It will be close either way

This club is ripe for the picking and Warren Central will be a Giant Killer!!!

IMO this game could come down to:

O Line blocking for Mattingly and him running more effectively than he did against John H (when he doesn't - PRP, Manual game 1, Bowling Green etc.). This sets up Victor A. who isn't an every down back. Victor is AMAZING, but when Mattingly is "on", the game is St.X's to control (Trinity, second half of FC, Second Manual game).

Long pass plays (like - PRP, Lex Cath, Male, John Hardin, FC). All of the teams that put up long pass plays have a great QB that can move around when pressured and make something happen. Manual had a great QB but IMO not one that hurt St.X with the pass, especially when scrambling. Trinity's QB is also a great one but not as capable with this as some of the others ST. X has faced. It's hard to cover a good receiver for this long, in these situations. The schools above also had very athletic receivers. Some of it is coverage errors and some the D line pressure but more I believe the athletic ability and poise of the other teams QB. This keeps the games close.

Anyone see this also? How does W. C. stack upto these possible keys?

Sure I do. I just want to see the Rocks playing in the final against whom ever. Doesn't matter to me, that isn't anything Trinity can control.

I've said it before, I feel X is the best team in the state. Really, I'd only feel justified in an explaination if I were to pick the underdog. I think X will win because I think they're the best.

The X O-line will be key especially against a WC defense that is not as strong as JH...heck..JH had the best Defense in 4A coming into the playoffs! X will have to play ball control and keep that high powered WC offense off the field.

X will have to do better against the long pass in this game...WC can pass and as they proved last friday...they don't quit!

I don`t play them the ROCKS do, but I would be excited just to be supporting my Team in the Finals. But The ROCKS still have to take care of business next week against Henry Clay. I think looking past your up-coming opponent is dis-respectful and dangerous!! Quick question is that what happened to your kitty cats??? it seems by your post that you think your team has it in the bag against Warren Central???

It seems that JH tested the kitty cats Def. last night!!! they dodged a major bullet last night, a pass thru the hands of a wide open reciever, the kitty cats Def. did nothing on that play in the end zone to break up the pass!!!. Also, the kitty cats Def. backfield gave up 13 points in 7 min., or was the JH recievers better??. Exciting game though.

Not everybody can cake walk to the pizza box in the East. Your rocks would have already been home watching if they were in the West.

Really? Based on what. John Hardin may very well have knocked off the Rocks, just like they very well could have knocked off X. Do you think that Central Hardin would have eliminated Trinity? The Rocks have already defeated Manual once this year so it isn't out of the realm of possibilities that they could have done it again in the playoffs. So in closing, I don't buy what you are selling.

Oh that old powerful west post again, I know ALL of the NKY 4A Teams and the Lexington Teams STINK compared to the Great ST. X Team & the kitty cat faithful!!. Talking about ALL of the Teams that Trinity plays and wins against as being WEAK is very disrespectful and shows the class of ST. X or maybe it is :flame: JUST YOU??????

Quick question, what if, just what! The ROCKS get to the finals and the kitty cats make it as well, are you putting down The ROCKS schedule so that you can have an excuse if The ROCKS WIN??? :

How is that disrespectful. T has only played 2 teams in the top 10 and lost to one of those. Manual is only team T has beaten that was ranked all year. X in the mean time has beaten 6 of the top 8 and knocked off John Hardin who was ranked 11 at the end of the year and obviously was underrated. SO YES T schedule is WEAK! Hows that for respect. Henry Clay is going to finally see what those pebbles are made of in the playoffs.

speaking of disrespect didnt you pick T 56-7 against Henry Clay.

No my comments were in response to you acting like X should have man handled JH when Trinity would have gotten trounced.

I think manual could have taken out the pebbles and JH most certainly would have sent them packing.
