It's a scrimmage against one of Ohio's best teams. No way to judge the season. I think they will be better than many think. Can they beat CovCath, who knows at this point. CovCath played an overmatched NewCath team so you can't judge them as well. Too early to tell anything.

C'mon people.... Defending Ohio's largest division state champs...4x the size of HHS... Lots of good things to take away tonight especially when you realize they won't face a team as good as st x the rest of the year. Defense looks greatly improved and the offense has many weapons... Look for lots of big plays from Venemann on the outside and Huber over the middle if they ever realize 6'3" over the middle is a nice target. New, Sisson and others caused trouble on d... Huber playing both ways is nice to see. Schoellman will be tough when he has a bit more time, which he will have against the upcoming completion. Breathe people.

Several young birds held their own on D against Cincinnati's top talent. Lewin, Dierig, delgrange, and Haigis all sophomores made several plays defensively. Throw in an injured Huddleston and schwalbach and the future is looks bright.

Now we have resorted to starting an update thread when the scrimmage was over.

The names may change but the antics remain the same.

Highlands is like a Fortune 500 company who lost their CEO and then their product.

So which NKY team would have done better against St X Cincy tonight?

Let it go. Last year you got your licks in and it was weirdly understandable for all those that grew up outside of Highlands. Now, getting like this after a scrimmage...it comes off as you have nothing else to focus on. Go read a book or something

If anyone would like to start a new thread and talk about the scrimmage that would be great.

I will say this, we are not going to tolerate the back and forth any longer so any of you that are more interested in targeting other members than you are adding to threads will be on the outside looking in.
