Tigers were down 28-6 at halftime but played very well in 2nd half to mount comeback, but fell short. Big games out of Mehki Smith, Michael Duddy, and Grant Goodman to pull Tigers back into game. QB Doug Bodhaine started out shaky but improved as game went on. Defense secondary for Tigers were soft in first half and played better in 2nd half. Tiger run defense was pretty good all night. Bad news for Tigers is Punter B Boehnlein was on crutches.

It’s not a win, but in my opinion a good showing by Saint Xavier.

Way to fight back and make a game of it. Unfortunate news to hear about Boehlein.

I know Mekhi Smith took snaps at QB against PRP, but was Bennett also the backup QB?

He was 3rd on depth chart and was JV QB. Now should be Bodhaine, M. Smith, and Frosh Adam Boone.

Did Cincy X lay off a little late in the game? Or did the Tigers mount a true comeback?

I’m sure the Bombers came out of halftime thinking they had it won, and Tigers came out like a hungry dog in 2nd half. Tigers getting score before halftime helped since they were getting ball first after halftime.

So nice to see us actually bring PRESSURE on D. Changed the game and a must to have our 3-4 work.

Big night for Bombers were DL Giovanny Albanese with 16 tackles with 4 sacks and QB Matthew Rueve threw for 315 yards. These two were the difference makers in the game.

I will admit that I did not see this being much of a game.

Don't get me wrong, I like this game because of the competition. But come on guys. The last game of the season before playoffs? Let's get this changed.
