Sounds like the flyers were not ready in the first half. Big comeback comes up a little short. Bye week coming up. Gotta find a way. Work hard flyers. Stay focused.

I figured Franklin would bounce back this week and it sounds like they nearly pulled off the huge comeback. I wonder if Spencer County wore down in the 2nd half with playing so many kids both ways.

Franklin is a heck of a team without a doubt. However this bears team is legit! Ran for 479 tonight, they need to clean up their penalties they killed drives in the second half. Next week at Shelby should be a dandy!

Flyers went deep into the bench defensively I seen several JV kids in the game second half. They played hard at times but too many turnovers and some very stagnant first half
    Offense.

Anyone know why Anderson(21) did not play for Franklin?

    Congrats to Spencer.

Big Game when the Franklin County plays North Oldham. Flyer loss means they don't make the playoffs.

This game should have been a shoot out. Too bad the Flyer OC can't see the field, the deep pass was there all night. Flyers do not hustle and take entirely to long to get the plays called, clock management killed the Flyers. The penalties are still there, not as bad as weeks past, but there were a couple drive killers. The seniors need to lead instead of hanging their heads like they did in the first half. Coaches gotta get those hands out of their pockets and coach. Good job Flyers hanging in there, this was a tough gam against a very good opponent.

Enough is enough, Spencer # 3 in state. Voters should vote that way

    Is 47-42 not a shootout?

It was 34-7 at the half though and Franklin was fighting from behind the whole game. Maybe that's why Badge said that.

Spencer isn't all that, and neither are the Flyers.

That is what I meant when I said that. I thought this game would would be close, but not a comeback kinda close. Spencer is a good team, but I don't think top 3, as I never believed FC was a top 5 at any point this season. FC had many missed opportunities in this game that could have changed the outcome. Then again I have not had the privilege to see the top 3 teams play.
