Are we talking trash about who will win a scrimmage game??? If you ever played you know that sure you want to win but a scrimmage is more about trying things out and see how it works. Finding things you as a team need to improve on and what you are doing well. Letting several different players step into the game and see how they play. Its all about what you get on tape and can learn from to prepare for real games and not so much about getting a W.

    3. St. X
    4. Scott Co.
    5. St. X JV
    6. Everybody else
Your doing too much Trinity's jv isn't better than the X varsity.

SK's D has to replace the whole d-line but has a couple strong linebackers and a corner that if he were 6ft he'd be going D1 somewhere. I am interested in seeing how far they've come and how far they have to go.
last year it was both teams 1st scrimmage and X won 35-0

Last year Beechwood probably would have beat X. This year SK is 100 times better than last year. Plenty of you will call it an upset if SK beat X. SK players are focused on beating who ever they play!
when did beechwood play sk? was it the first scrimmage of the year?? where X didn't even watch film??

When X runs the ball it should be a good match up with the running backs and linebackers. SK has 220 pound MLB and a bunch of 195 pound plus LB's. Should be some hard hitting.

You are correct, I was thinking Bush won the shootout, but I stand corrected.

Actually Bush won as a soph and lost as a senior.

When X has an offensive line with this size and ability they are hard to handle. Buckle UP SK!
I agree 100% and this St.X line will be big and good!

I see this scrimmage is August 10th does anyone have a time yet? I would like to see a little bit of this and see if Simon Kenton has improved from last year. St. X provides a great chance for Simon Kenton to see where they are as a team and areas to work on as St. X is always a good team year in and year out.

Cat fan. Watch st Xavier backs. #16 goes 5'11" 185. He played against SK last year as a soph. In his first varsity game and did quite well. Runs much bigger than he is. #44 goes 5' 9" around 200 and is fast if he breaks lose. #45 goes 5' 9" and 240 or so
and is a bull to bring down

All the above will be juniors

Sr rb Brandon Moore is nursing a hamstring deal. Not sure if he will play

Not true. SK lost a starting defensive linemen with a leg fracture last week.
