The beat rolls on for the Colonels....looking at the schedule, Dixie looking like a strong chance for a 3-8 season. I know the natives are very restless and some of the younger talent is considering options next season....tough times in a program that many think should be doing much more than they've accomplished so far in this disappointing season.

Will the administration, community and roster - both in house and waiting in the wings - have any more patience if 3-8 is the final record?

I think it's pretty justifiable that the natives are restless at Dixie. I would be too in their shoes. Just my two cents worth, if you take into account that the AD came to the school with the head coach from their previous program and is still on the football coaching staff, it's gonna be a pretty major uphill battle to even consider a head coaching change.

This final score seems par for the course here, all in all. Simon Kenton has now outscored Dixie 200-82 in the last half a decade.

Dixie is 15-38 since their big season in 2014. Only 6-23 since the start of the 2017 season. If you remove Grant County from the equation, then they only have 1 district win since 2014, and even still, Grant County only puts them at 3 district wins. Dixie's average score since then has been 18.3 ppg and their opponents are at 30.5 ppg. That's averaging a loss by almost 2 touchdowns. I don't know which is more ineffective for the Colonels, their offense or their defense.

So then one has to ask...why has so much slack been given? Is Dixie football that low on the administration's priority list? One has to wonder how much talent has left the pipeline and elected to play elsewhere with school's who take the success of their football program seriously or elected not to play because of, well, same ole, same ole?

Good physical game. Sad the Colonels lost. I'm on the fence here with this head coach. The record (Dixie's) speaks for itself, but I don't see players or coaches that are quitting.
Going down the scheduled losses. At Cooper, Dixie lost that game more than Cooper won it. Nobody saw Conner having the amazing season they are having. Cov Cath was going to win regardless but thats probably a closer first half if Dixie doesn't commit unforced errors. Beechwood doesn't win last week if Dixie is healthy. Simon Kenton will tell you they weren't comfortable in that second half until that interception. I guess my point is that everyone here knows what a team looks like when the message is no longer resonating.
For everyone who wants a change, what changes would you make? What names would you like to see as the head coach?

That sounds like a more than reasonable discussion for another thread.
