If your Qb has to be your leading rusher then you definitely have some Rb issues. He won't last all year playing "fullback" in 6a. Get him dinged up then what?

How can you say that? Many across the state played in the same weather and had no problem scoring. You have no idea what the score would have been. Why do you always discredit your opponent when SK doesn't win in a blowout?

I saw the highlights. SK was in white and they didn't look muddy. They looked wet, but not muddy. And honestly, the field didn't really look as bad as some are making it out to be. Every team in three states that played last night were wet.

Why didn't your big boys take over in the trenches. Seems like a team with a line like that should like that weather and be able to slam it down the throat of a much lesser opponent. (If you feel Conner was really that much lesser of an opponent that SK).

It was a good game, both teams played in the same conditions and the game could have been won by either team.

I called this outcome. And I knew all the haters were gonna come out in force. I seen the pictures and I agree the field didn't look as bad as I imagined. No excuses but a win is a win. Conner played good. Noone knows what would have happened if they played Thursday on a dry field or not. Maybe we will see in the playoffs who knows. I don't see the same comments being said in beechwood/Somerset game thread though. And that one was 7-0 with possibly the best 1A school only scoring one td.

I agree with @RCC9 sounds like your huge line didn't get it done when the game was on their shoulders. So are the Pioneers overrated or are the Cougars better than you thought?

I interrupt this thread to bring you an important opinion:

I don't have a dog in the fight, but I will take up for the Linemen some and say, in my experience it is much easier to run, cut, jump and slide in the mud then it is to block. You lose your leverage and strength trying to push someone while you are sliding.

Back your previously recorded Simon Kenton hating.

I just have to get this off my chest. A win is a win is a win. That's it. Coaches don't read into them, players don't read into them. Only us arm chair coaches/players who over analyze everything. I get it, give your opinions, we're all entitled to them. But really, unless we watch every game played every Friday, our opionions, still valid, can certainly be taken with grains of salt. I haven't met a coach or a player that was unhappy about a W. Margin of Victories only matter in College. Not High School. Sorry for the rant, happy Saturday Folks : )

well Mr @Footballforever74 like to use score comparisons to tell you how good you are so it definitely matters till it works against him.

I get your logic but comparing scores can be misleading.

I think I read that somewhere. Not sure if it was a reliable source.
