Shaun Alexander at Boone County HS

Can anyone let me know which years Shaun Alexander attended Boone County High School and also which of these years he started for the team?

    Thanks.

Graduated in '95, I know he started as a Jr and Sr, not sure about his So season.

This came from a draft bio.

High School...Gatorade Circle of Champions Kentucky Player of the Year, adding Parade and USA Today All-American honors at Boone County (Ky.) High...Ranks fifth on the prep national career-record list with 110 touchdowns and ninth with 6657 yards rushing...Gained 3166 yards with 54 scores as a senior and rushed for 2401 yards, including 24 touchdowns as a junior...Led the team to a pair of state Class 4A titles...President of his class from the ninth grade until graduation...Graduated with a 3.5 grade point average.

Looks like BC actually won two AAAA championships. I wonder if those from Louisville know about this.

He's in the KHSAA record book for rushing attempts in 1989. Most of his career records span 1991-1994.

I'm pretty sure he did not lead his team to 2 state titles his SR. year Trinity beat them I'm pretty sure Male won it in 93 his Jr year St.X in 92 his sophmore year and clark co. in 91 his freshmen year. so I think that bio. is wrong.

He led his team to the title game twice though didn't he?

Me and my buddy were talking about Shaun the other day. I knew he was 5 grades ahead of me but couldn't remember how many years older he was. I always consider the season as their year of graduation and it throw me off.

Boone has never won a state title.

Yes the Rocks beating BC in the '94 state title game Shauns senior year was amazing. He had just rushed for I think over 300 yards against a good Fern Creek team and was averaging over 250 per game. His line also averaged 300 pounds, even though a great guy and hell of a player

Played agianst him while at Bryan Station in 92, 93. One of the best I ever saw. Only team to beat us those years; both times in Regional Finals

Didn't they win the state in wrestling back in the early 80's? I'm not sure about that, but I was thinking they did.
