    Question for the LexCath followers...

I have a question for those BGP'ers who closely followed LexCath in 2005. I believe that when LC shut out Highlands (at Highlands, no less) a couple of weeks ago, it was the first and only shut-out for LC's defense this year. Given this, how did Highlands' offense compare to the other offenses LexCath faced in 2005? Was it in fact one of the very worst, which the above-mentioned statistic seems to point to??? On a spectrum of best to worst offenses LexCath faced this year, where would HHS be?

Also, from your perspective, what could HHS have done better offensively?

Highlands was an excellent team which required LexCath to keep the strting defense in til the very end. St. X. and Scott, Franklin, Rockcastle and Harrison Counties were the other teams that forced Catholic to play their starters throughout the game. Most of the others scored against JV players. LexCath could probably have had about five shutouts if that was their goal. Highlands had a very good offense, LexCath just matched up very well against them.

LexCath had just as much speed, maybe more. HHS isn't accustomed to that every week.

Lexington Catholic has a history of speedsters in their 15 year program history. That will continue. It should be a factor this weekend and again next year.
