As a UK fan, I hope he goes to UK, but how can he pass up Notre Dame, Georgia, Michigan or Virginia Tech. I guess he would if his family is pushing him to go to UK.

He needs to recruit some of the other great players in the state to go with him to improve UK's team, if he decides to go there.

"Kentucky is still the over all leader" Is a quote Micah Johnson told a Clarksville radio last night. Mentioned Rich Brooks returning and said he spoke to him man to man and didn't try to impress him with who he knows and what he can do like other schools and coaches have done. Said when it's said and done the would the choice best for him as his family has told him to do. Nobody in the family trying to persuade him one direction or another.

This is the kind of player IK has to sign to get more of these type of players to get to a level where they can actually compete.

It's hard to build a program in the SEC. How do you convince a kid to come to UK when the Georgia's of the world want him too.

After his Notre Dame visit he said that his overall leader was still Kentucky and Georgia and Notre Dame were a close second. I think that he will stay close to home and play for the Wildcats!

Is Micah related to Dennis Johnson? Or do they just share a common story?

So much for the predictions and sources claiming VA Tech.

That's odd, because Doug Ormay from KNN just spoke to Shawn Berner--the Fort Campbell Head Coach--less than an hour ago, and he said the Herald Leader report was incorrect. In fact, he was pretty adamant about no commitment being made by Micah as of yet. Doug and I just talked it over, and we both agree that Chip Cosby's source was obviously a good one--but can't figure out why his coach wouldn't know about it. Your thoughts?

No connection at all. Micah has an actual work ethic.

CatsPause now reporting that report of commitment was premature. This according to Jeff Drummond. Not so fast my Cat Friends... Developing.

I think Josh Minton of Southwestern is the DE being recruited by the Gobblers.
