    Public School Champs

Public schools dominated this year with the only private school champion being Christian Academy-Louisville. I think itís good for overall competition, especiallly since some have called for a separate private school division in the past.

Great to see public teams win. A true credit to their coaches and administration for these teams to have continued success

I’m glad to see them win but until private schools are prevented from giving any tuition assistant to athletes I will support a public private split.

Of the six Ky. high school classes, three were won by Louisville schools. 2A - CAL; 3A - Central; and 6A - Male and two of the three are public schools. In fact only two of the eight championship competitors were private. I don't see the problem.

So if a student has tuition assistance and then after a year decides to pick up a sport then he has to be cut off?
