Let's keep this thread about the Pikeville/Ashland game, and keep it clean so the mods don't have to close it.

I predict Carter goes over 200 yards again with 3 TD's.

I had a friend from Pike County tell me to keep an eye out for the Honaker twins. Can someone tell me about them?

Where is this game being played? LSU couldn't beat Ashland at Putnam. For some reason, the refs there are less than neutral. Hope Ashland enjoys their new class. Go Panthers!

^The game is at Putnam and Raceland has beaten Ashland 4 of the last 6 times at Putnam. I look for this to be another very good / close game and will give Ashland the edge in a close one.
by the way - welcome to bgp lawrencefan.

For whatever reason, I just have a goo feeling about this game for the Panthers. They have a lot of talent, especially in the backfield in the form of Daniel Harmon, and their defense is going to be one of the best in the mountains this year. I look for Pikeville to win this one with a score somewhere in the neighborhood of 24-14.

I certainly hope you are wrong and think you just might be. Of course we will all know for sure about 10:30 tonight.

Good luck to the Tomcats and Panthers and I hope that both get away from the game w/o any injuuries.

Don't get me wrong. Putnam is a wonderful facility with lots of history, it just always seemed to me that the crowd and the overall atmosphere has an effect on the way the game is called. I personally have not seen the like at any other facility. Whatever they are doing in Ashland, they should keep it up.

If Tomcats don't play better mentally, physical(HITTING)football ,(IMO)Pikeville will cruise. But if Ashland plays with intense physical Tomcat football for 4 Quarters Tomcats win. :fight:
