Yeah, I've heard about the Super 10 or whatever that group of boosters is calling themselves.

Big ties to football and basketball.

Other sports there fight for scraps based on hirings and talent transfers

Any word yet on a new hc at Taylor? Everything kind of died after Thomas never made the announcement.

Am I the only one that finds it super surprising that, they of all schools, have not filled this yet? I really figured they'd get this knocked out quickly.

Some like a lot more smoke than fire with this one.

You can have a committee, but its a farce...Roger Cook is the Jerry Jones of high school football and will find a way to screw this up.

I guess to fan some of this into more of a story, and because I think this is a very interesting job to be open: What kind of coach does Taylor County need and what would it take for them to find success?

The last batch of enrollment numbers I saw had Taylor as one of the smaller schools in 4A, so numbers are probably going to be an issue with them pretty consistently.

They lost 3 regular season games by a combined total of 19 points, and the 7 wins were all by double digits except for 1.

I'll admit I don't really know the details about the actual workings of TC, but on the surface they had a pretty good year last year. Could the new coach close that gap?

We're getting close to the end of the school year, they kind of need somebody soon.

And with John Hardin coming open I can see it making it even harder on TC

Rumor Mill has Foley the middle school Coach at one of the Pulaski middle schools. Yes I'm sure ppl will question the hire. Does Foley has any high School exprience?

If I remember correctly, he was offered the Adair job last year only to turn it down.
