Per the athletic director, Moore has promoted Tombe Kose into the head coaching position for the Mustangs. Tombe has been the team's offensive coordinator in the past two seasons.
Cool story on Coach Kose. His family came to the United States as Sudanese refugees when he was 10. He didn't know what football was, and learned about it watching the San Diego Chargers play on Sundays. He ended up playing football in high school, then played for two years at Mesa JuCo in San Diego, before transferring and playing fullback for the Syracuse Orangemen in his junior and senior years. He apparently came to Louisville to play semi-pro football for the Kentucky Pythons in E-town. He's coached for the Louisville Youth Academy, then at Eastern High School, then Ballard, and now Moore.
Congratulations and good luck to Coach Kose and the Mustangs!
