Why do all the McPeek Job talk, include talks? Does he have an agent or what?

I think Mcpeeks family is on here trying their best to get him a job. He is the front runner for every job and if you don't think he is then you are stupid.

He applied at Montgomery and the Superintendent said absolutely not once an interview was scheduled with him.

Are these two names the only two candidates remaining? I thought, from an earlier post, more second round interviews took place?

I can't believe they have not hired someone yet, they have been "interviewing" for nearly 4 weeks.

2 months into the hiring process is not a quick hire in my book. These weeks in January through March are crucial to the development of a team and implementing new systems. If they don't feel comfortable pulling the trigger on one of the applicants they have interviewed then they don't have the right guy for Montgomery County anyway. Division 1 football doesn't take this long to hire someone.

It was down to three coaches, and I heard they were interviewing last week, so I wonder what the hold up is. I know they host the region tournament, so I bet if they don't announce today, they probably will not until next week.

Montgomery has decided to do some cost saving next year and just be player coached.

I understand that hosting the regional tournament is a large undertaking, but to pause an already lengthy coaching search because of it makes it seem like football has taken a backseat. It would appear they could have named a coach before the tournament started.

Montgomery administration is bunch of clowns. They have no idea about football but same could be said for many schools. I saw letcher hired another MS coach give me a flipping break. Sad times in Kentucky for football coaches.
