The new coach should have support from the school administration and the local community. There doesn't seem to be much pressure to win or grow the program so that's a plus for a relocating coach.
When they re-posted the job this month, only 5 people applied. Can't say I blame anyone not wanting this job, it has been handled almost as bad as the Bell County job.

Nelson will fill on the inside. They have a couple options.

I called someone I know that's close to the program. He said all is quiet at Nelson, but Fox, Lawson and Bobblit got brought up in our conversation for names of interest for NC if Egli were to leave.

Yes, apparently Lawson has family ties to the area and has be heard speaking about NC being his dream job.

I think anything that gets Lawson out of Bullitt Central before the start of this season is going to be his "dream job."

Congratulations to Coach Egli on the new job, and good luck to the Indians!

I've gone ahead and started a new thread to discuss the new hire: Jamie Egli Is Montgomery County's New Head Coach
