    Sizemore has been a dedicated coach at Montgomery for 4 years. He has done everything that has been asked of him. I believe that he has worked his way up to have a chance at the head coaching job here. Montgomery hasn't hired a assistant since Owney Owens in the early 90's.

    Everyone has the impression Sizemore has only been at Montgomery when in reality he has been on a number of great staffs and has coordinator as well as college experience.

    That's nice. And I have lost track, did they give him the job already? If so great. Now , here is a little education for some people. If you are a really good mechanic that doesn't qualify you to run the garage. If you are a great guy, who shows up every day and works hard you may not have the technical skills to do a particular job, you may not "deserve" a promotion. If you are the best sniper in the military that doesn't qualify you to be an officer.
    A football Head coach has to possess a certain skill set while an assistant has to posses another. You can be a good assistant and not possess those skills. You can actually possess the leadership, organization, motivation, and vision of a head coach without being a great technical or schematic assistant. They are not the same.

    I really wish I was on these hiring committees, but I wouldn't last long because i'd hurt somebodies feelings.

    But are you qualified to hire a coach? Have you ran a program before?

    Actually I have. I think you are confused. Im spreading truth that has nothing to do with Montgomery county. If your guy got hired I said great. I don't care about Montgomery county. I'm making a general statement. The only way you should feel offended is if your guy matches the description i'm laying out.

    Good point. Just don't know that everyone understands that the guy does have quality experience beyond his time at Montgomery. The issue here is that this thing has been dragging on for so long. Hire candidate A, B, C, or Z just hire somebody

    I'm not offended. I don't have a "guy" with that being said I do think there's something to be said about working hard a being dedicated and loyal to a school. Programs make good and bad hires all the time but you never know until they actually have the chance to show what they can do.

    Gonna be a bologna hire like always and political as can be. Same stuff just another day.....regardless who they hire it doesn't matter because it's gonna be a Good Ole boy system.

    Looks like they started interviews last night. It's being kept pretty quiet. Hope they get a coach this time. Lesson here is, have money and push your agenda. Whole thing is a shame.
