    Open Job: Harrison County

Apparently Neil Furnish has stepped down at Harrison Co after going 0-10 last season. Rumor has it that he has accepted an assistant coaching position somewhere in Tennessee. 3 yr record was 10-22. Harrison has been a FLAT MESS for at least 10 years. Cryin' Shame

Why has it been a mess?

6 coaches in the last 10 years. hasn't been a winning season since 2008. Over past six seasons....their record is something like 16-51. Painful to say the least

Good luck to Coach Furnish in TN. Rumor mill is Coach Van Isaac (former HC QB and 4 year player at Georgetown College) or former HC Coach Ray Graham for the job. I'm hoping someone can stay the course and invest 10+ years in the program.

10+ years is asking a lot. When almost every job in the state has had multiple guys in a decade, that's probably not going to happen. I looked into it last year, maybe the year before that. And there were only 4 or 5 schools with the same HC for a decade.

Coaching HS football in KY is tough. Best wishes to Coach Furnish.

Coach Graham did a very good job at Harrison Co. Great man, as well.

Are numbers down at Harrison County or just no talent.

I seen the basketball team has been bad the last couple years along with baseball struggling compared to Harrison County standards this season as well.

Fired him, the Adm didnt think he won enough and I think made some bogus excuses.
Run a man off who dedicated 25 years to a school.

Well they get what they deserve.
