thats my opinion on the colonel front
No way. Brady deserved to be there. Sutton was good, but so was Brady. He had an awesome year and deserves to be first team.

Are you speaking of the game where he lit up LexCath, the game where he led CCH to a win vs Harrision County, or the game where he threw for roughly 200 yards against Highlands?

There are a lot of different ways these could have gone, but to exclude Joseph Casteneda is ridiculous.

Dozer, Drew Ellison was the Player of the Year in Northern KY, I doubt he would be left off. Not to mention, he is the only division 1 QB in this part of the state...right?

I took the original comment as a shot against diehl and NCC when Raiderbird said "Ellison is alot better all around qb......What was the score of the CCH vs NCC game??????"
We had a bad game when CCH was on top of the world, I believe you cant compare on that game. And I think it says alot that we are still playing and got our bad games out against CCH and Beechwood

    But of course.

I'm willing to bet though that the name "Joe C" comes up on 99% of the lists.

I realize there are always those left off that some think should make it. This is a no-brainer. The challenge is that coaches and media can't see everyone or they only see them once or twice.

    Its an inexact science .

He's not a lot better. Diehl has a better arm, Ellison is probably a better decision maker. They are about equal athletically. How many times have you seen Diehl play?

Where is Slinging Sammy going to end up for College ball? I am sincerely asking, I haven't heard.

I have no clue personally. I don't see how he would be DI. I'd say maybe D-II or NAIA. He's very athletic and has a decent arm strength. I think his height and playing at 1A are two bigs negatives against him. Look at Jeff Smith and Eddie Eviston. Jeff was a very good QB and has done nothing but get bigger and better at Georgetown. At a different high school, a bigger school, he had the chance to be DI. Same with Eddie as a safety coming out of High School. Playing 1A hurts. You're talking about two QB's that would have started at any school in NKY their senior years and they didn't get much attention.

I agree. It's a shame that it works out this way, but 1A ball is traditionally looked down on when there is such fine talent playing in it. Colleges tend to look at the larger schools though. Good Luck to Sammy, I think he would excel in the D-1AA or something like that. Maybe WKU or Morehead St. Or even Georgetown playing NAIA ball.
