I think X will mix in 2006with Vic at QB, the QB draw he had against male was sick

    look for that Friday

Glaser is really proud of the possibilities of Vic under center or in the shotgun, but I think the vast majority of snaps will find Zoeller at QB.

Zoller will be a very good High School QB, but if you attended the X / Male game you have an understanding of how good Vic is at QB. You should also receive a preview this Friday. Look for #3 to play QB for several series against the Rocks.

Entire series, and put one of the best Senior game managers in the state on the sideline? I will be surprised.

Vic is good, talented, and can really mess a team up throwing the half back pass if they cheat up on the sweep or run the draw... but I think that's better mixed in, certainly when you have a player like Curley at QB.

He has one heck of an arm and everyone already knows he can take any snap the length of the field if the D is not paying attention.
I agree. Vic is an amazing athlete, and St. X has the players to have one of the best backfields in state history. If Vic plays running back then that will keep either Willie Simmons(will be a junior) or Duece(sorry don't recall real name - will be a sophmore) off the field. All three of these kids play the same position, and all have big-play potential. It would suprise me if Glaser didn't use the tools he has been given, and put together one of the greatest backfields St. X or the state has ever seen. X fans please tell me this is correct, I have heard that Duece is strong and big, and may have more D-1 potential than Vic. Is this really true?

I agree, but having him in for several plays will draw so much attention form the Trinity D that other options should open up.

I understand that this thread is talking about the best QB that will play QB the entire game for his team, and if that is the case disregard Victor Anderson as a pick, but when he plays QB he will be by far the best QB in the State next year.

I don't know about more D-1 potential than Vic, but Yes he is Very, Very Good.

Joey B has a very strong and accurate arm , with off season work he could put up BIG numbers next year ! But the OFF SEASON will make you or break you !!!
Hopefully they will do what needs to be done so that we can get off to a fast start next season. Joey will be a good QB regardless because he already is, but if he works on it during the off season he could be great. Guess we'll know in another 6 months.

Middlesboro's Trevor Hoskins had over 2000 All-Purpose yards and 26 TD's this season. He's got good size at 6'4", and 185#. Fastest kid on the team, and a 60 + yard arm. QB'd the KY All-Star team that won the Hawaii Tournament before his Junior year. Tremendous upside.

No disrespect, but I have a hard time believing that Vic Anderson will be the best QB in the state "by far" if and when he fills in at QB. He isn't even the best at the position he plays on a regular basis, and probably won't be next year. The kid has talent, no one disputes that, but you may be stretching it a bit.

Deuce is one heck of an athlete....He was clocked around the 4.5 /4.6 range at the very beginning of the football season...I believe he has improved this. He has very Vic like moves except that he is more of a power runner. I think he weighs about 20 more pounds than Vic and has much bigger thighs. His yards per carry average for the Frosh had to be insane. He seemed to break every 3rd run for 6.

There has been talk all year about Anderson being the best High School running back to ever play in the state of Kentucky, not by fans on internet message boards but by several prominent journalists around the state. Are you a better judge of talent than them? I think you will get a chance to see just how good he is on Friday, because I believe he will be used more than he has been in any game of his St. X career.

Yes Zach Lewis from Clay should be in the mix even though he will only be a Soph. He will have all his receivers back except one and all the O line returns but one. He'll still have those receivers in 08. Shaun Pennington nailed down some very impressive school and state records while he was at Clay...by the time Lewis leaves he might hold them all.

I agree with you -- Hesch will be outstanding as long as Newport is able to fill those spots. Who did you think will stand up and fill those spots? I figure along of the juniors from this past season will have to step up and play both ways.
