I agree, but hay we've been underated all season. But looking back it sure was nice to see the boys climb up the area ratings! , and showing a good example of what team play is all about. This is playoffs and anything could happen, but I'm looking for the team to go up to Newport and play a solid game. I hear there are two student buses traveling up tonite as well as a host of other locals to show their support for the team. Hope everyone has a safe trip up tonite and I'll see you at the game!!!

Mark "Bo" Pelini was born 6 weeks premature. He designed a blitz to help him escape from his mother's uterus early.

I like Newports chances better in this game than I did in last weeks game. There D has improved tremendously over the course of the year against the run but the pass d is still weak. With EC being a primarily running team I think that plays into Newports strength on D.

EC sounds pretty stout on D in both phases of the game but this will prolly be one of the best balanced offensive attacks they have faced all year. James Glenn being back for the cats along with Wilfong and the passing game will be tough for EC to defend.

    So ill go with:
    Newport 28
    EC 21

It sounds like EC is gonna bring a lot of students and fans, I think that is great that they are all gonna come up and root their team on. Its always a great atmosphere when you combine a packed house and the playoffs.

I'm a Bellevue Tiger parent now, but I myself am a Newport Wildcat for life. Good luck to the Wildcats tonight. I will be routing for you!

I think Newport wins and hosts Russell next week for the region title.
