The field conditions werent bad with the exeption of there not being a blade of grass on the entire field. I think i can recall the right corner of the endzone being on the track which just amazes me. I cant understand why they didnt play the state semifinal game on a better field. Congradulations to NCC and good luck next week.

You would think so...but it's how, rather than where, you play the game.

That field has been NC/NCC's home field for over 40 years and we are grateful to NHS for letting us share it. Both teams had to play there. Go Breds!!!

He was still on crutches as of last night. I don't see him being able to play.

Are you that desperate??? Earlier in the year you couldn't stand the Breds. Now they're the one's representing Ft. Thomas. Struggling to find a way to get a shot at the school.

I'm talking about the kids that are from Ft. Thomas...Find 1 post where I said I couldn't stand the Breds..........The only thing I said is that they are scared to play Highlands and get embarrassed........... Hopefully when Bob retires we'll be able to play again.

No big surprise! I have said all along that NCC would win this one! Somerset was a good team but just didn't have the talent. Paintsville was a good team and could have beaten Somerset on their home field if not for a blocked field goal and an interception deep in Somerset territory. Having followed the teams, it was easy to see that NCC was on another level than Somerset.

On another note, Mayfield will be able to hold their own with NCC and should beat them!

I had heard that if it were the finals last night, he could have played; but they felt they could give him another week, and still control the line of scrimmage, which obviously was the fact. Look for him to go next week!!

    As i predicted.
I watched somerset against paintsville and thought they had a very solid team but i also knew that if NCC was as good as advertised they would come out on top. Great Season Jumpers. Good Luck Next week NCC.

Congradulations to the Thoroughbreds for the big win! They really looked amazing last night, too many Offense of weapons and a Quick, physical Defense. ( Good Luck at PJS, and bring N.KY. back one).

Congrats to the BREDS on a job well done. Good luck next week and stay focused for the grand prize. Keep up the NKY tradition.
