    Newport Central Catholic 2018

    What does Newport Central Catholic need to do to improve in 2018? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

    They need to get back to NCC football and that is, discipline and hard nose football. In the past NCC didn't hurt themselves and in recent years they hurt themselves with penalty and costly mistakes like personal fouls that kind of stuff rarely happened with Schneider and Eviston. NCC has a rich tradition and I believe Lickert is working on restoring that.

    Kyle Kelly who has several D1 offers should have a great year playing RB and LB.

    I agree, that has seemed to be his thing with most starting quarterbacks he has coached.

    Not sure this will matter I don’t think Hambrick is returning to NewCath.

    With the new coaching staff the style for NewCath will look different and they will have many ways to get Kelly the ball. If that happens then it will open up for others to get involved and make an impact.
