      Default Mason County/Ashland Scrimmage

      Royals drop scrimmage with Tomcats but 'pleased' with progress

      We had a great day here in Maysville working with the Tomcats.

      Coach Hart is a good friend of mine and like always, his teams know how to block, run the ball, and play very strong defense- especially against the run. Aaron Elam also threw the ball well and did a good job leading the Tomcat offense.

      We are making progress and feel like we are much better now than at the end of the season last year.

      Zack Klemme did a good job with his write up of our scrimmage. His article will be better than anything I could tell you.

      Best of luck to all the coaches, teams, and young men that get ready to take the field this fall.
