Knight defense did well. Alex Nash had great game. Offense needs work.
Oslonian was going both ways for Bell. He cramped up in 4th quarter.
He had some good passes in key downs.
Kyle Bolin hit freshman Sam Letton for first score. Other TD went to Braxton Coach and Dave Bovier.

This looks like it will be LexCath's year...

Congrats to Coach Letton, the rest of the staff the kids and Lex Cath! Makes me smile seeing Sam Letton had a TD. He was a tough big kid when I left there. He's going to be a fun kid to follow the next 4 years! Glad to see the Knights get out of the gates strong especially holding Bell Co to 7 points!

Lexington Catholic's defense forced three turnovers and made a couple of huge fourth-down stops in a 21-7 victory over Bell County.
"We hit like crazy," said senior safety Alex Nash, who had six tackles, including four for losses. "Coach told us we just out-hit 'em, and played more physical than they did.
"They were running down our throats all night, but we stayed in there and stopped them when we had to."
Nick Foster and Kairon Snowden led the Knights' hit parade, along with Nash and Derek Hayden.
"Time and again we created turnovers with good physical play, and that was a big key," Letton said.
"Fortunately, when (the ball) was on the ground tonight, most of the time we were able to get it."
Bell County Coach Wayne Mills thought his team's three fumbles made the difference.
"Same thing last year (in a 33-27 loss to Lexington Catholic), we turned it over," Mills said. "They're a heck of a football team. Physical. But we laid it on the ground and didn't give ourselves a chance to win."

Great game Bell had to many turnovers. Kyle Bolin is a very goood QB. Good luck to him the rest of the season and the future. I know that Bell had the ball inside the 5 twice and didn't score. Things will get better for the Bobcats good luck Catholic rest of the season,

Bell County is much better than you are giving them credit for. Before Highlands was 4A whoever won the battle royal amongst Boyle/Bell/LexCath would win state. Just because Bell is 3A doesn't mean that standard of play has changed. Bell is and always will be a quality program. They'd be a top 3-10 team in 4A right now easily.
But sleep on LexCath if you want.

Lex Cath is going to be very tough for anyone to face. Come playoff time, they will be scary.

Slow, slow start on offense. Lexcath had the ball for one possession in the first quarter. Bell controlled the ball using the ground mostly keeping the ball out of LexCath hands most of first half.

No problem. I know it is hard to keep up with since we haven't played in a while.
How does Wiggins compare to...
