Any chance he crosses the border and comes to Oak Hills in Cincinnati?

Yeagle gave his all to this program. His football genius was his love for his players.
I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone will have the success that he's had~It is a very sad day for Beechwood. We will miss you Mike!

I have heard the job is basically Burnetts if he wants it. I could be wrong that is what I have been told. If this is not true I would like for them to go outside of the program like Cov Cath did.

I totally agree with you. I got to play under Yeagle during the title run in the 90's. What we did was truly amazing. I think he is the best coach in Nky history. If he isn't the best in the state he is in the top 3.

Now, don't get crazy! :fight: I think he is taking some time off from coaching. He has worked intensely for years. As far as his replacement is concerned...who knows? Bob Burnet filled his shoes one year and did a fantastic job. I would imagine he could have the job if he wanted it, but he already wears a lot of hats. Beechwood has some great assistant coaches who have worked with him for years. Perhaps one of them might take the job. Mike built a superior program, and I am sure they can carry it on. At this point, we are all guessing.

But yes.........we will certainly miss him.

It's been a great run. But, all good things must come to an end. For all the slightly numb Tiger players out there: Look out the window. The sun is shining. It's a beautiful day. It happened. Life keeps going on. It won't be the same, just different. You can do it. We know you can!
To all the former players: Thanks for the memories.

Not shocked to hear this, but surprised. Mr. Yeagle is a great coach. I wish him luck in whatever he decided to do.

    Why is he leaving?

    His call or someone else's?

As far as I know, it was his personal decision.

You can throw the best coach in NKY history out the window. He is arguably the best coach in STATE HISTORY. A huge loss for the Beechies community and High School football around the state. I have a lot of respect for him and his accomplishments!

One thing is for sure though. If Beechwood opens this up from the outside they will be some great great coaches to apply for this job. With all their tradition this has to be one of the best jobs in the state.
