    Just my dumb luck all of the teams in the Indiana finals win and very few of thew Ohio teams I root for won tonight.

    Lowell has been playing football since 1906. This is their first state football championship.

    This was a great year in the Indiana playoffs. Public schools swept all five classes and Lowell entered the playoffs with a losing record and stunned heavily favored Roncalli (a private Indy area Catholic school) in the Class 4A title game. Public schools in Indiana have shown that they can compete with the private schools by focusing on winning football games instead of whining about how unfair it is to make them compete against private schools.

    IHSAA got it right with class football
