I think there are 10 in Kenton Co. playing football, but I could be wrong. There was one title by Holy Cross, and everything else came from Beechwood and CovCath. Someone else would know totals. And Kenton Co. is much bigger than Campbell Co., population-wise. About 165K.

I counted 20 titles for Kenton Co., including a Ludlow title I wasn't aware of.

With Kenton Co., it's 4 different towns. Two different ones in Campbell Co. I think Danville's claim to Titletown is pretty ironclad, especially when you consider "town" is part of it.

Can't speak for Highlands, but 99% of the students at NewCath are Campbell Co. residents.....and probably the same for Highlands.

I don’t care about the total student body. And it’s silly to try and claim Campbell County is a “small” county.

Ok, how about the overwhelming majority, probably 95%of students, have about a 10 minute "commute" to both schools.

Great pics showing community support. Thanks for posting.

Exciting times for both schools. Best of luck Ads and Rebels!

Won't be quite as special as there are 6 state titles up for grabs. If they would both be fortunate enough to win this weekend which is very very difficult, they would take home 1/3 of the titles available. During the original "Titletown" run they brought home 1/2 of the titles available. To one of the smallest counties in the state. I personally am still in awe of that accomplishment and don't think people realize what an accomplishment it truly was. Danville is Boyle crosstown rival but I could not be rooting for them any harder than if I went there myself.

I have pretty much been a Danville fan since I moved here but I must say...I'm cheering hard for both teams and will be from now on. I need some Boyle County fans to help me out with basic Boyle things

I think you're missing my point or just purposely avoiding it. Trying to say Campbell is a small community is silly.

Another point is we are talking about Titletown, not Titlecounty. Both schools reside in the same town of Danville hence the name Titletown. What other town in Kentucky can claim that many titles?
Good luck from this Briar Jumper! I would be great to see both teams bring home the trophy once again!
