Scott Co, CAL, Johnson Central, Beechwood, Mayfield, and Central all get the running clock.

The Cov Cath game will be a running clock early.

Covcath might be in the pig pen of a field down there, so the slop favors Pulaski. Covcath is still favored, but that one isn’t a slam dunk for a running clock in my opinion. The rest of the teams I mentioned should without question be a running clock. I hate how KHSAA does their playoff system, but I will save that for another thread. We have seen way too many running clocks with this format and cross-bracketing.

There will probably be running clocks in the finals again this year.

It's just the way it is, the state is top heavy with a few great programs in each class.

Corbin had a first half running clock at Pulaski this year, 47-7 at half. Corbin while a good team, isn’t Cov Cath. I would be shocked if this isn’t an early running clock.

I would say Beechwood and CovCath are the slam dunk running clocks and then Mayfield, CAL, Central, Johnson Central and Scott County all have the possibility. So definitely 3 or more.
