I will believe that when I see it. Teams like Highlands don't stay "down". There is a reason they have 22? state titles and it's not by luck. The best part is, their down year would be considered a phenomenal year for about 20 other schools in this area. Again, they went to the semi-finals in a down year and actually had that game in the bag before they collapsed.

I don't typically promote Highlands haha but when it comes to football, you can't hate their success. As bad as it burns me to say it, but when you think NKY football you think Highlands. And the fact that I never had to play them may be another reason that I don't hate them.

We all remember man, Highlands had a "down" year last year. SK was pretty good and beat them. It happened, congratulations. It's like beating Einstein at checkers when he has the flu, great job, you're the best! And I'm sure that you're right that all those Highlands teams that beat Cincy St X and Elder would have been destroyed by SK..... SK picked the right year, plane and simple.
I hope I'm wrong but think Highlands might just be moderately better than they were last year. There is the bad taste in their mouth factor for this offseason though. They could be so peeved from last year that they work cray hard, bond in belief of themselves against the world and become a great squad.... It's happened before with them 'Birds.
And State Rings never look silly.Last edited by Birdman98; Feb 26, 16 at 08:25 PM.

I think the scariest thing for Kentucky football is if Weinrich becomes a hybrid of Dale and Duffy. Would there be 26 guys on the roster or 110? County Fair or Fun Bunches?

There is no comparison between the two schools SK has 1672 students and HHS 940. SK will be the best team in NKY next year and put a running clock on most if not all NKY teams. With that said HHS is and will always be one of the best programs in the country.
