    Highlands 62 Cooper 0 (JV)

46 to 0 at halftime. The class of 2021 looks tough.

That's a lot of points for a JV game Coach.

I'm pretty sure the majority of the varsity players they use are sophomores and juniors currently. So the JV score doesnt really reflect the future much, since the Varsity teams has so many sophomores and juniors playing.

Why is there no depth in the Jags program? They were humming along a few years back.

Coaching team atmosphere would be the obvious answer.

I hope those last 16 points were on dives up the gut! I'm gonna go ahead and guess otherwise however.

I'm hearing that Soph Joe Buten touched the Ball Three times and scored on all Three Carries. Joe is a Special Football player......

He's a stud. Had a nice TD run in the varsity game also on only a couple carries. Crazy talent for a sophomore.

I have to wonder just how necessary it is for this young man - with all this special talent - to play JV for the Birds? My guess is there are plenty of backs - sophomores behind him on the depth chart and juniors behind them - that could get those carries.

This stuff never makes sense to me. Guess I just expect better from adults. Silly me.
