Just mentioned it in the Middlesboro thread, but the AD at Great Crossing was trying to get Larry French to interview after he announced his resignation at Southwestern. Sounds like he turned it down. Someone told me McPeek has interviewed for the job. He's currently an assistant at Douglass. They've apparently talked with a couple folks from the Georgetown and EKU staffs too.

I'd be talking to Josh Jaggers from Larue County if I were them.

Sounds like McPeek and Chappell are the two front runners. Which order I’m not real sure.

I would be absolutely shocked if a McPeek gets a head coaching position in Central KY given their history.

If McPeek would get the job that would create one heck of a heated rivalry right off the bat.

The Warhawks will be concluding their coaching search by the end of January, and will introduce their first head football coach sometime after February 1st.

That’s the plan. Rumors are that their numbers might be very low due to players being able to choose which school to attend for a few years.

The athletic department confirmed with me yesterday that they're going to have a full 5A varsity schedule.

I know they have a schedule. The question currently will be their numbers. They could end up with very low numbers due to players being able to select which school. Does anyone know if they have signed their contracts with other schools?
