Nov 8, 05, 07:57 AM #136History says Highlands in a CAKEwalk.
FC hasn't faired to well against the NKY teams in recent years.
'99 - Lost to Holmes 41-25
'00 - Lost to Highlands 55-6
'03 - Lost to Highlands 54-14
'04 - Lost to Highlands ???
I say it's probably a TD or 2 closer this year, but don't see FC pulling the upset.Advertisement

We've seen how far great regular season records get you come playoff time with Conner the last couple of years. It's all about who you schedule.
Quit acting like no one respects your team, which quite frankly they haven't earned anyway. Most HHS posters haven't stated anything negatively about Franklin Co. yet Franklin Co. posters seem to be offended. A few have stated that they are athletic and fast. I'm sure you'll take that as an insult though. Good luck Friday night and have a safe trip.
Have any of you Franklin Co. posters moved from East Jessamine in the last year or so? :fire:
Nov 8, 05, 08:04 AM #138"There won't be a problem with our players focusing for Franklin County. They were really focused against West Jessamine. It might sound goofy, but playing West Jessamine was way bigger than playing Colerain in Paul Brown Stadium. We told them that."
Nov 8, 05, 08:07 AM #139There you go Lamnuts54, you can drop the Rodney Dangerfield act. As mentioned in the Enquirer article, Highlands is taking this game, as well as every game from here on out as the biggest game of the season.
Nov 8, 05, 08:09 AM #140I think Franklin Co. will play a spirited game and put up a good fight, but Highlands will still be to much.

I think some of the people predicting a HHS blowout would be well served to remember the Bell Co game last year. I seem to remember a few people in the same mindset and we all know what happened. I hope the senior leaders of the team keep the younger player's heads on right or their season may be over.

Nov 8, 05, 09:51 AM #145OK, I did a little research for those that can't seem to comprehend English.
Out of a total of 12 predictions, 10 have come by "NON HHS Faithful."
Out of those 12 predictions, 6 people have predicted what can be considered a blow out.
1 of those is a so called "HHS Faithful."
Out of those 12, 3 have predicted an "upset" by Franklin Co.
In closing, the "HHS Faithful" are well aware that their boys need to play a good football game to beat Franklin Co. We get it, we understand and we know.

Franklin will score some but not nearly enough. I see Franklin having at least one huge turnover that will either be a Highlands touchdown or will lead to a score the next play. Franklin will score about 17 points and will have some success but they will not be able to stop Highlands.

Frankling County 17
Get ready Birds I have a feeling the real offensive power comes to town next week with Justin Burke slinging it. Now that game could be a different story.
