If Sanders is cleared to play, do you know if he will only play defense? Someone who tackles as well as Josh would be a big help against a running team like DeSales!

Western threw all over DeSales and I mean all over, probaly over 300 yards. They would spread 4 guys out and run them down the field and throw the ball up. DeSales CAN NOT DEFEND THAT! They cam close to Western because their offense ran over Western's defense. The game was all offense. If Corbin can effictevely air the ball out, it's over.

Will not go against the hounds at home, to much pride.

Cashun has the arm to throw all over them, Tate and Blackwood have the hands, add Henson in the mix from the end, the HOUNDS will be capable of throwing for 300+.

A weakness of both teams is their pass defense. Corbin throws the ball well and DeSales likes to use their powerful running game. I look for lots of points and I'll pick the home team to win by 62-58.

For Corbin to win their defense will need to step and make stops. I have faith that their offense can move the ball. I think this game has the makings of a high scoring game. The Hounds are very tough in the playoffs at home. Two times a year you never want to play Corbin at home, one is in the pigskin and the other in the playoffs. This year the hounds lost in the pigskin, which is unusal, will they lose at home in the playoffs too? It should be close, it could go either way.

That will be up to the coaches. I do know that he is hungry to play again on the home field.

    Common Opponent Stats

LCA (1A) defeated both of these teams early in the season...

    LCA over Desales 38-19
    Team 1st Downs Run/Pass Yards Run/Pass TimePoss.
    LCA 7/6 194/209 21:04
    Desales 13/3 263/50 26:56
5 of 18 passes with 2INT's by LCA

    LCA over Corbin 42-30
    Team 1st Downs Run/Pass Yards Run/Pass TimePoss.
    LCA 15/5 410/104 27:08
    Corbin 6/15 126/225 20:52
20 of 40 passes with 2INT's by LCA

I think I will pick Corbin on this one - they were young and I think they are a different team than when LCA played them in the 4th week.

Although, Desales studs were cramping in the 1st half really bad - which had soemthing to do with the results of that game in the 2nd week as well.

As for your STUPID comment, Corbin is the best TEAM in CORBIN. They are they only team in CORBIN. No offense to LC but its hard to be the best in a town when you are not located in that town. LC is the best team in GRAY, KY.
Now thats out of the way Corbin has the momentum their way, keep on rollin.
    Corbin-38
    DeSales- 14

Correction, Lynn Camp is the best team in the TRi-County(Whitley, Knox, Laurel) area. It never ceases to amaze me at how many Corbinites feel it a threat to their manhood to acknowlege that maybe Lynn Camp just might be better than the Hounds. This silly "Corbin is Corbin and Lynn Camp is still Lynn Camp" is old school....very old, very dumb school!

I am a BIG supporter of both the Cats and Dogs. I would love to see two state trophies brought back to the Corbin (AREA).

Here's hoping that both teams make it all the way to the magic carpet, but I suspect that Corbin's ride may very well end first. Good luck to both teams this week.
Grow up. I know one thing corbin's football team dont care how good Lynn camp is or Lynn camp could care less who Corbin plays right now all they know is Paintsville and Desales. let this kids enjoy this. no more carzy comments by grown up kids.

With a few DeSales players close to my heart, I'm going with the Colts giving Mark Sander this big playoff win on the road.
