The relationship between the feeder and the high school is very tight. Kids are expected to attend Ryle and only Ryle. Compare that to NKYFL or BCPWFL where they state that they have no ties to a HS program.

I don't think I'm completely sold on the "feeder" program as the reason for a team being successful. I think it's more about having the Jimmy's and Joe's.

From the public program perspective, more like holding on to the Jimmy's and Joe's.

By all means, feel free to talk about it. I just know a kid on the freshman team so I decided to see what everyone thinks about the scrimmage.

Just to let you know TVC51 this Frosh class is going to be one of the largest Frosh classes in over 20 years at CovCath. Was total 153 incoming Frosh this year and the current 8th grade class at the feeder Catholic Schools are boy dominated too!

What I always get a kick out of, is those that think CovCath is as big as St. X or "T"!
Back in the day, we had 225 that graduated from my class!

I would like to see that letter.

They parents do have to sign statements that state they live in Ryle district and will attend Ryle High School.

My advice to any coach or person putting out a doc to the public is they have someone review it. The above is not good from a professional or grammar standpoint.
"players family's" "volunteer's"

Not that I know of, but it is a new program and I guess you have to get started somehow.
They do rent and also offer to buy your equipment at the end of the season.

Just out of curiosity, with all those Union Raider 8th grade teams moving up, with a lot of kids accostomed to playing time, I thought Ryle might have a second freshman team. Are you seeing much attrition?

I don't know if you can have a second team?? But I do know that after watching this freshmen team at practice it looks like it is the biggest, fastest, and best coached Ryle freshmen class I have seen in the last 7 years. We will find out a lot tomorrow.

They only had 1 - 8th grade team last year, with about 25 kids and a 7/8th grade team with a mix. The freshman team only has about 35 kids, about the same as last year.... the Varsity/JV together only has 65+/-
