Caleb had two runs that went for less than 20 yards and each one turned out to be nine yard carries.

I thought this was a 13th vs 14th scrimmage score. Must have been an awesome 2nd half by the Hounds.

The hounds D got their rears kicked in the 1st half. 85 points is alot, but I would guess the Corbin coaches are embarassed by the lackluster defensive performance. Its too late in the season to be playing like that. Hats off to Caleb.....he is special.

Caleb's performance is not that shocking to me neither is the score, that is what I was expecting against 1-7 Knott County Central. But how in the world does Knott County put up 34 points in the first half against the Hounds? Corbin will walk through the district but it looks like Lexington Christian will have their way with the Hounds if they don't fix some problems on Defense.

I'd say that Coach Jewel is not very happy about that 34 points allowed by the defense!

Yep, big problems on D which have been there all season. We don't cover the QB very well or a run by the FB up the middle.

The agreement before the game was once corbin was up 35 they would use the running clock. It took a long while but once we got the 35 point lead we pulled ALL starters. Say what you want about coach Jewell, but he has never ran up the score on anyone intentionally. Too many times (for me anyway) he will pull starters with a lead of only 3 tds or so... mid way in the 3rd.

Most times Caleb touched the ball he scored, I can't remember a touch that went for less than 20 yards....that is rushing, receiving, KO return or punt return. And this kid isn't included in Mr. Football conversation??
Gilliam had seven touchdowns and 426 yards rushing when Harlan County beat Middlesboro last year, and he didn't make the all-state team.

It's hard to get recognized as a running back.

The 1st half defensely was just awful they let a team that should not have score put 34 pts up in the 1st half. They got woke up at half time and shut them down the 2nd half does anyone have KCC yards in the 2nd half.Really can't say much about the offense because they wasn't on the feild much 1,2 or 3 plays touch down way to easy on offense. But the O-LINE blocked well and Caleb was outstanding Fritts looked good he would have got alot more time but he had been pretty sick this week and Taylor was out because of sickness really missed him on defense. The hounds are off untill Tuesday.Does anyone have all purpose yards on Caleb.

One of the earlier post said Caleb isn't in MR. Football conversation that is sad. Caleb is probally one of top 10 players in the state.

You have to give Knott Co. players and coaches props for the way their offense played in the first half. They lined up in an unusual formation and took it to Corbin's defense the entire first half. Corbin's coaches made some adjustments, both strategically and mentally at the break, which led to a different result in the second half.

Coach Jewell is not one to run up the score, which I don't believe he did. He pulled the starters when Corbin went up more than the previously agreed upon 35 point margin for the running clock. I'm sure that the score is a little embarrassing to him, but Knott Co.'s defense was just not very good and could not stop the Corbin subs from scoring in the 4th quarter.

I agree, and Middlesboro was a much better team last year than this year's version on Knott County Central. It takes much more than one game to solidify yourself as a Mr. Football Candidate and not against a 1-7 team. I know Watkins is a great player though, I'd just be interested to see his game by game stats against each opponent to judge him for Mr. Football. Does anyone have that?
