Cooper/Holy Cross Predictions August 24th at SK

If Holy Cross wants to win this one they're going to need to cut down on Penalties. How many penalties did they have against Dayton? They had at least 10 and the majority of them were 10 yards or more. I thought HC's QB did a nice job "dinking and dunking" and his WR's did a better job making plays in the open field.

I can only agree on the penalties. I have to think those will drop in number. Most were on first year starters with a bit of the jitters I think. I was suprised to see so may myself.
The offense will be able to move the ball. We just need the defense to close the holes is all.

I think it will be interesting to see Holy Cross play from the underdog position again.

A question for Cooper fans. Are this years Seniors the one that beat Scott County when they were Freshmen?

Interesting. I did not remember that. Cooper played in the small school freshman division that year and I remember a lot of people questioning that move. Interesting that they played Scott County the same season they were playing in the small school freshman division.

Yes, a lot if discussion back then. It was Cooper's 2nd year and the thought was after getting beat pretty bad the year before they would try to be more competitive but with Frosh classes it can be very different from year to year. Cooper tried to get other NKY big schools to play but schedules were full. After a cancellation on the small school schedule Cooper was able to get Scott Couty to play.
