Is Barker still number 7? All the hype and he is in shorts no uniform.

Maybe after Spygate II they decided they don't want to play him. Nothing in the rules says he has to play.

You're at the game. Do some digging and report back to those of us that are 103 miles away.

Number 22 for Conner might be fast but he just fumbled.

First twenty minutes were scoreless and then BW scored early in the second twenty with a Erdman TD from about 20 yards out. PAT good.

Conner then scored 20 unanswered to close it out. Two Fogle TD's and a nice pass to Loney. Fogle showed his 4.4 speed on a nice 80 yard run. Kid was flying.

Erdman and Nussbaum both running hard tonight. Good scrimmage to build on for both teams.

Good to hear. I'd love to see Conner have a very memorable year in 5A this season.

I think they are primed for a special season. Great team chemistry. Need to shore up that run D.

I have faith in the defense. They'll get it done.

Not sure what game you watched RomanEmpire Conner didn't look like a 5A contender. Beechwood looked like the better team. Nussbaum was the best player on the field. Beechwoods defense was in Conners back field a bunch of times. I also heard Colin Justice is playing on the line now. Number 16 looked good at QB for Beechwood. So what was the story with Conner's starting QB?

Beechwood is one of the better small schools in the state aren't they?

Beechwood may have looked like the better team, but obviously they were not since they lost. I don't know what was going on with Beechwood tonight but they had a ton of penalties in the first half. They had a few personal fouls, a horse collar and a block in the back. Given it was a scrimmage, they can't expect to win big games if they have that many big penalties.

First 30 minutes was varsity then the next 30 minutes was JV then 10 minutes was Varsity again. Conner beat a team had all its players playing both ways. South Oldham and Cooper will crush Conner.

So why didn't Barker play? You know about every college visit the kid has. He didn't look hurt he was tossing the football during warmups.
