    Class 2A State Semi-Final: #1 Mayfield at #10 Walton-Verona

Mayfield will load up and make the ridiculous trip the edge of Northern Kentucky to face the surprising Walton-Verona Bearcats.

Walton-Verona secured the biggest win in their School's young history and their first ever Semi-Finals appearance by outlasting Glasgow.

Mayfield enters after making short work of Murray.

    Who wins and why?

The game will be over as soon as Mayfield steps off the bus.

I'd bet that they'll go up Thursday night.

Mayfield by a significant amount. Somewhere in the 40+ ball park.

Lol... these are the same comments as Glasgow vs Walton! There is an underdog up in NKY gang that likes being under the radar. Win or lose... I promise you it will be an exciting game! No laydowns or blow out in Verona!

If this game is decided by less than 4 TD’s, I’ll be very surprised.

I’m very happy for Walton advancing to this point and getting the corner turned for their program. I’d absolutely love seeing them beat Mayfield, but just don’t see it possible. Coach Barth definitely has things going in the right direction at the further end of Boone County though. Good luck to both teams!

My question is, what does walton have to do to get any credit? Walton defense is incredible. Walton has opened up both run and pass game. Coach barth will get these young men ready to play Friday.

Be in a spot where the game is still in question at the start of the 4th.
