But I wouldn't bet against me enjoying some Larossa's Pizza with Lawnboy the day after Thanksgiving prior to kick off of the State Semi-Finals between Somerset and Newport Central Catholic (another school that some have written off) in Newport.

For everyone bashing Southwestern the 0-5 school that Somerset beat, look at a few of their losses.

14-0 to Corbin (5-0) a game that was scoreless until the middle of the third.
31-28 in OT to Knox Central (3-2)
38-27 to Belfry (5-0) a game in which they were in until the very in and played well enough to win
42-20 to Wayne (5-0) a game that was a one score game in the second half

SW 5 opponents including Somerset are 20 and 5....not to shabby of a group to go 0-5 against when your starting QB transfers to Russell Co over the summer.
If it gets to that, I'll join you guys.

OB Cath is a little down from last 3 to 4 years but still a capable team that can make a long run with a little improvement. Strong QB and pretty decent running backs, not as good in the trenches and at WR. Defense isn't great, but, decent. Have looked good in a couple of games and then got exposed against the better offensive teams

How do the playoff brackets work this year? Does central Kentucky travel west for semis? What are the district pairings for region play?

They get 1 LB and 1 DL back this week. When they get their other LB's back next week they will stop people like they did against Henderson 28-7 and Apollo 45-6 and Daviess Co. 37-13. After that game they lost 3 LB's and it was a huge drop playing those backups.

On offense, they will have their RB Staples and 2 OL Tapp and can't remember the other kid? back this week. I think they will be stronger on O this week and stronger on D this week.

Reed and Payne back on D this week will make them alot better on D. When they get Heath and Reynolds back at LB next week they will be back.

Hopefully they been working out and staying in shape.
