1.6A: Scott County (3-0):
The Red Birds are rolling. The Cardinals latest victim, Highlands, felt the wrath of Scott County in the 71-20 defeat. Scott County had 580 yards of total offense. Senior RB Brice Fryman led the rushing attack with 177 yards and 2 TDís on just 8 attempts.

2.2A: LCA (3-0):
The Eagles also remained perfect this week as they went out of state and picked up a 41-21 win over Vincennes Lincoln IN. Scott County wasnít the only team putting up 500+ yards of total offense, LCA put up 538 yards. Senior RB Dillion Wheatley lead the rushing attack with 157 yards and 3 TDís on 22 carries, quarterback Logan Nieves was 18/21 for 244 yards and 3 TDís in the win.

3.2A: Danville (3-0):
The Admirals also improved to 3-0 last week in probably the best game of the night. The Admirals defeated crosstown rival, Boyle County 10-7 on a 45 yard field goal with under a minute to play.

4.3A: Boyle County (2-1):
The Rebels felt the misery of losing to a rival, especially a crosstown rival and nothing stings more than losing on a field goal.

5.4A: Mercer County (2-1):
Another undefeated team that suffered their first loss. 2 points is the difference in between Mercer County and Anderson County with the Bearcats coming out on top 21-19.

6.3A: Lexington Catholic (2-1):
The Knights picked up a big much needed victory on Friday night, defeating Lafayette 25-0. This week it wonít be easy so much as they travel across town to face undefeated LCA.

7.4A: Franklin County (2-1):
The Flyers had a shootout with Woodford County, a winless Woodford County team, but in the end the Flyers would prevail, 33-20.

8.6A: Lafayette (1-2):
After having such a tremendous season last year, the Generals have took a step backwards, going 1-2 in their first 3 games, they lost 2 games all of last season, both to Louisville Trinity.

9.3A: Western Hills (1-1):
The Hills had this past week off and will return to action this Friday night at home hosting 3A Bath County with kickoff at 7:30 PM.

10.5A: Madison Southern (2-1):
After dropping the season opener to Collins 38-7, the Madison Southern Eagles have bounced back in a big way picking up two demolishing wins; Garrard County 48-14 and Bourbon County 37-7.


1A: Paris (2-0): Paris has started the season off 2-0 for the first time in 2 years.

3A: Garrard County: The Golden Lions defeated Lincoln County 34-8 Friday night to pick up their 2nd win.

6A: Frederick Douglass (1-1): Frederick Douglass had the week off this past week.

6A: Madison Central (1-2): Although they are 1-2, Central has played some tough opponents close.


5A: Woodford County (0-3): The Yellow Jackets have been run ruled in 2/3 of their games, thatís not a good start to the season.

5A: Lincoln County (1-2): After picking up a season opening win, the Patriots have lost back to back games.

6A: Paul Laurence Dunbar (0-2): For the 3rd straight year, the Bulldogs have started the season off 0-2.


​#3 Danville at 5A #10 Pulaski County. Danville coming off a big 10-7 victory over crosstown rival has them geared up and ready for another challenge, taking down the Pulaski County Maroons while the Maroons will look to be the first team this season to knock off the Ads.

#6 Lexington Catholic at #2 LCA. The Knights coming off a big shutout win over Lafayette has generated some momentum heading into their showdown with #2 LCA, who is looking to remain perfect on the season. This one is a must not miss type of game.

4A #2 Wayne County at #4 Boyle County. The Cardinals bring their high powered offense (1,500 total yards of offense in 3 games) into Danville Friday night to take on the Boyle County Rebels, who have to be stingy at the 10-7 loss to crosstown rival, Danville. This is another one of those, must not miss type of game.

Logan Nieves (SR QB) (LCA) threw for 244 yards on 18/21 passing and 3 TDís with 0 INTís in the 41-21 over Vincennes IN.
